Shipping & Production Timeline
Most Smoker Art pieces are made to order. When you place an order, your piece is hand-cast specifically for you using our artisan stone mix and, when applicable, your selected pigment or custom color options.
Most made-to-order items are created and shipped within 2 weeks of purchase. In some cases, production may take longer depending on current order volume, custom color requests, curing time, finishing work, or other production needs.
Our typical production process includes:
- Mixing the artisan stone with the selected pigment or color treatment.
- Hand-casting the piece.
- Allowing the piece to complete its initial 48-hour cure.
- Demolding and hand-finishing the piece.
- Applying any secondary hand-painted or hand-finished artwork colors.
- Allowing the piece to continue curing for a total curing period of approximately 7 days.
- Sealing the finished piece with a food-grade sealer.
- Allowing the sealer to dry for 24 hours before packaging.
- Creating any custom color silicone mouthpiece, when included or ordered.
- Packaging and shipping the completed item.
We state a production window of up to 2 weeks because orders are completed by hand and may be produced in the order they are received. If we are already working on other customer orders when your order is placed, it may be a few days before production begins on your piece.
If there is an unexpected delay, we will contact you with an updated timeline. If we cannot ship within the stated or updated timeframe, you may choose to continue with the order or cancel for a refund before shipment.
Shipping costs and delivery options are shown at checkout. Delivery times may vary depending on carrier service, destination, weather, holidays, or other conditions outside our control.
For orders shipped outside the United States, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other fees charged by their country or shipping carrier.
Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery
Orders are shipped from the United States via USPS with tracking.
Most U.S. orders are expected to arrive within 3–7 business days after shipment. Canadian orders are generally expected to arrive within 7–21 business days after shipment, depending on destination, customs processing, and border delays.
These delivery estimates begin after the order has been completed and shipped and are separate from the production time for made-to-order items.
Tracking information will be provided when an order ships.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their country or shipping carrier.
Returns
Custom orders, made-to-order items, custom color pieces, personalized items, and final-sale items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
For in-stock items that were not custom-made, returns are accepted only if the item is unused and in its original condition.
To request a return for an eligible in-stock item, contact us within 30 days of purchase at support@smokerart.com. If the return is approved, the item must be shipped back unused, undamaged, and securely packaged.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Items that have been used, altered, damaged after delivery, or returned without approval are not eligible for refund.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label.
If the issue is confirmed, we will work with you on a replacement, repair, refund, or other appropriate solution.
Handmade Variation
Each Smoker Art piece is handmade. Small differences in color, texture, surface pattern, finish, and detail are normal and are part of the handmade character of the piece. These natural variations are not considered defects.
